Picture description: Moscow dream. Despite the help from the airport staff and a previous agreement, Aeroflot wouldn’t allow us on the plane. We spend the night at the airport’s children’s playground and we can only dream of flying to Moscow.

Picture description: Moscow, metro station Komsomolskaya. We felt like we were in a national museum. Only the hurrying Russian crowds reminded us of reality. Metro for the disabled in Russia means that you get instructions from the local staff on how to use the escalators safely. They are fast. Very fast.

Picture description: Picnic in Chutsky trakt. We traveled 800km there and back, it’s the only road crossing Altai. According to the National Geographic, it is the fifth most beautiful road on the planet, maybe because on a short section of the road the landscape changes several times. You start on a flat ground and continue over the taiga hills and meadows all the way to a high mountain desert with a view over the 4,000m high south China range.
