Series description: Red and green Macaw, Macaw’s Hole, Brazil, 28 July 2014 Macaw’s Hole is a 124 meters deep ravine in Buraco das Araras. In 1986, the owner of the area decided to introduce a pair of green-winged macaws confiscated from smugglers. Since then, their population has increased to today’s 100 birds.
