Series description: Marian Varga for the last time – The brilliant musician and composer Marián Varga appeared for the last time in public at the Pohoda Music Festival, where he came to listen to his string quartet and songs played by his friend, cellist Jozef Lupták with a group of musicians. He sat in the first row on a wheelchair, listening attentively, and though he had to breathe with an oxygen mask, he could not do without his ever-present cigarette. He died one month later, on 9th August, in his house in Čierna Voda.
