The exhibition of the sixth year of the Czech Nature Photo competition is coming to the Czech Photo Center gallery! The competition began with an exhibition by this year's competition juror, Spanish wildlife photographer Marina Cano. Now you can look forward to an exhibition of award-winning and other selected images of nature.
The international jury met in the Czech Photo Center gallery to select the nominated and winning films of the sixth year of the competition. For the second year in a row, the Czech Photo Junior competition for schoolchildren and students is being held in parallel with the competition for photographers of wildlife. 250 participants signed up for Czech Nature Photo and sent almost 2,300 photos. Students and schoolchildren applied even more - a total of 272 young authors sent almost 1,500 images.
A rich accompanying program called Nature Month is prepared for the exhibition. There will be annotated tours and author's presentations. It will be possible to meet last year's winner of the Photography of the Year Igor Mikula and also to naturalists and photographers Zuzana and Matej Dolinay. The exhibition will open on May 4 and will last until September 4. Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday always from 11:00 to 18:00 and on weekends from 10:00 to 18:00. The basic entrance fee is 100CZK and the reduced 50CZK. Galerie Czech Photo Centre is located 100 meters from the Nové Butovice Metro Station at Seydlerova 2835/4, Prague 5.
