From 7 December to 14 January, the multi-genre Czech Photo Centre is showcasing a group of photographers from around the world whose freelance and professional works make up the Fujifilm X-Photographers group. The exhibition will be divided into two themed blocs, with each marked within the gallery by a separate colour.
X-PHOTOGRAPHERS

Opening hours: Tue - Fri: 11am – 6pm / Sat - Sun: 10am – 6pm
Of the total of 27 photographers, 9 are from the Czech Republic. These include, e.g., Radek Kalhous, Vojtěch Hurych, David Gaberle, Jiří Růžek, Jiří Šebek, Michal Krause, Jiří Štarha, Petr Kozlík, Jakub Cejpek. International photographers who will be showcased at the Czech Photo Centre include Kevin Mullins (Great Britain), Jose Jeuland (Singapore), Spencer Wynn (Canada), Nordica Photography (Sweden), Tomasz Lazar (Poland), Adam Ferguson (Australia), Ines Thomsen (Austria), Omar Z Robles (USA), Saulius Damulevičius (Lithuania), Jonas Rask (Denmark), and others. This means domestic and international works will come up against each other, encouraging a search for new forms and perspectives on contemporary photography. This is the first X-Photographers exhibition in the Czech Republic.
The exhibition will also include an additional programme including guided tours with selected photographers, talks by photographers and practical workshops.
Fujifilm is the largest company focused on photography and imaging in the world. “X-Photographers” was established in 2012. The term refers to a photographer who takes photos using the Fujifilm “X” system. The letter “X” can also mean something “non-specific or non-defined”, allowing photographers to create freely without limits.
These X-Photographers are Fujifilm ambassadors representing 57 different countries around the world who present their works in online galleries (www.x-photographers.com) and who also test out the latest technologies. They include laureates of prestigious awards (World Press Photo, Sony Photo Awards, etc.), teachers and adventurers.

In conjunction with Fujifilm, we have arranged a number of talks and practical workshops as part of the exhibition with some of the international photographers, and these will take place within the Czech Photo Centre gallery. The talks and workshops given by non-Czech photographers will be in English. Experience the world of X-Photographers firsthand.
